I've seen JOHNNY DEPP!

Over to Thursdays adventures.. Seriously, something happening EVERY DAY this week :-) anyways... On Thursday it was the world premiere of the movie "Alice in Wonderland", so two girls from my class and I took the train to London after school to do some celebrity stalking... when we got to the premiere there were thousands of people outside the cinema and it was pissing rain.. great! Didn't see anything beyond all the thousands of people with their umbrellas... It didn't look to good since we got there so late, and the celebrities were already on their way in to see the film..We were very disappointed when we heard Johhny Depp (the main reason for coming to London) had already gone in... We figured we didn't want to go back to cambridge yet since we came all this way, so we decided to stand outside in the rain and wait for the movie to end... Just to get maybe a little gimps of one of the biggest actors of Hollywood... Johnny Depp is by far one of my favorite actors, so I had no problem standing in the rain for a couple of hours if it meant I got to see him...A lot of people had left by now, so we got a great spot right in front of the theater.  It was really cold, but sooo worth it in the end.. When the movie finally ended, they all came out and got in their cars.. They didn't hang around too long, but at least we got to see them!  Anne Hathaway, Sharon Osbourne, Helena Bohem Carter, Tim Burton, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Matt Lucas, Alan Rickman an of course JOHNNY DEPP! We were only a few people standing outside, so when he drove by us, he had his window down and was waving and smiling at us!!! AWESOME! :D

My Super Sweet EIGHTEEN!

Hanging a bit behind on the blogging, but have seriously had NO time at all this week... Skydiving was unfortunately cancelled today due to the weather so have two hours until I have to be on the train to Liverpool, so will try to give you a brief update on my week..

First of all, my birthday! As many of you know, on Wednesday I turned 18. I had a fantastic day, and the biggest surprise of all was of course when I came home from school and heard a knock on the door.. I went to open up and guess who was standing outside?! my MOM!! She came all the way from Tromsø just for my birthday!! I couldn't believe it! Just started to cry!... Haha it all just was sooo unexpected, I didn't know what to think. So that was certainly the best present... Apart from that I got a few books, some makeup and money.. Later in the evening our class went out to eat at a restaurant in town. I still can't believe I'm 18 years old! Certainly don't feel that "old".... Doesn't seem that long ago I was playing with Barbies and teddy bears, and suddenly now I can vote, drive a car, get a tattoo++ Really weird! Well anyways; had the best birthday, and here are some pictures:

I have sooo much to tell you, but as you know this week has been the craziest most busy I've ever been, so it'll have to wait.... But stay tuned to find out more...! Don't have time to write anything really... Something happening every day! I love it! On my way to a Lady Gaga concert now.. Can't waaaaait! She's amazing!! And tomorrow it's skydiving and Sunday going to Liverpool to see them play.. haha, busy bee!  so gotta go!!  see ya later

A Travelers Heart...

Definitely got one of those! Despite coming home from one week on Gran Canaria at 3 o’clock in the morning on Sunday, at 12 o’clock I was up and ready to go again!! My friend Helene who always seems to want to travel when she shouldn't, asked it I wanted to go to a city north of Cambridge called Ely, since she had a marketing test the next day which she hadn't read much for... ha ha, so why not!

It'a not a very big city (it's not even a city) just a small village 15 minutes by train.. But it was really nice and I like  seeing some of the smaller towns and villages of England, not just the big ones...They had a beautiful cathedral there, so we went to see that, but apart from that we just walked around and took some pictures... 

The Grand C!

Nooo not the Grand Canyon, but GRAN CANARIA! Came back Sunday morning at 3 o'clock after a fabulous week there! Not really that much to say about what we did.. Didn't really do that much, it was just so incredibly good to be away from school and homework and the cold winter days of England... Just lay on the beach all day relaxing, eating good food out every night, sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down++ Didn't take too many pictures, but here are a few:

Oh happy days!

Life is great! Finished with my English ESOL exam, vacation for a week, going to Gran Canaria TODAY!! Can't wait!! Bus will be leaving in one hour, so have to start get ready... Suitcase packed and I'm (almost) ready to go! Snowing outside here in Cambs, so will be really good to go somewhere warm! The weather forecast however isn't that great on Gran Canaria,  it's supposedly going to rain a few days, but should be fun anyway.. Us four girls are leaving today, and then the boys will be there on Monday.. So seven all together.. Should be fun! Can't wait!! My first time in Spain as well..Valentines day on Sunday so will probably go out to eat just us girls, but apart from that we don't really have any plans.. Just relaxing and enjoying our holiday in the sun (hopefuly it won't rain too mush) And also, happy mothers day tomorrow mom! I love you.

Oh, and last week I ordered a trip to Amsterdam! So having a girls weekend there in March with four other girls in my class...Hmm.. what else it there? Oh yes! I forgot to tell you all, but I got a hold of four LIVERPOOL tickets to go see a game on the 28th! Tickets are REALLY hard to get, so I was sooo happy I got some really good tickets... Their my favorite soccer team, so can't wait for the game! So much coming up now in february, It'll be awesome! Well, have to go now.. See ya!  Que pase un buen día!

A Great Day

On Saturday I went to London with two girls in my class to go to Notting Hill and later on I was meeting my cousin Amanda, who I haven't seen in five years. All in all, a GREAT day!! Got up early and took the bus to the train station, then the train in to London, went to Notting Hill with Simone and Helene and we found all the film locations from the epic movie "Notting Hill". The book store, the tattoo parlor, the blue door (which isn't blue any more) and many other places from the movie.. After walking around Portobello marked and Notting Hill for a few hours it was time to go to Big Ben to meet Amanda!!! Hadn't seen her since 2005, so was really looking forward to spending the day with her. Took the underground to Westminster station, and there she was! By Big Ben with her two friends Brittany and Leila. So the four of us walked around London, ate fish and chips, went to Buckingham Palace, Harrods++ I had a great time with you Amanda, and hopefully it won't be so long until next time! Maybe only a few weeks! I'll also be looking out for cheap flights to Barcelona :)
